Today 08.08.08 suppose to be a lucky day (especially for all Chinese). I woke up at 8:08am, on purposely set the alarm and I wear a red shirt to office.

I reached office at around 8:45am and was shocked to see a big truck was blocking the main road in front of my office. When I walked nearby only realized it hit to the wall next to my office building. Police was there. Strange not many people kaypo-ing at the scene.

Being a blogger, I quickly snapped down the scene using my camera phone.

Back to office, discussed with my fellow colleagues. Then “Damn, forgot about the most important thing - the plate number!”

So I went down to the site again and snapped another photo.

Luckily enough, no one was hurt.

So I am all set for tonight’s Olympics Opening Ceremony 8:08pm, and not forgetting the special TOTO $8M DRAW.

I have won my first Dinner&Dance Lucky draw… although it is #867 (out of 870 prizes) but I am still happy. Nonetheless it is still consider top 5 prizes (backwards)

We all received email sent out today about the new office, and given the opportunity in naming the new building to walk away cash prize. A new microsite launched which can be accessible via Intranet.

Employees also voted for the most-wanted facilities, seems all prefer to have a Gym, Staff Lounge, Shower Facilities and many Movie Screenings! (Why not a swimming pool eh?)

I am actually looking forward for the move into new office, because it is nearer to my place which I can ride there in no time (less than 15 minutes), and so good the shower facilities there.

Oh yeah, I submitted my entry to the “Name-the-building” contest, GREEN HUB.

Office atmosphere now is set to (very) relax mode. Employees are starting thinking and discussing on how to dress to company’s annual dinner and dance. I am more interested what prizes they have prepared since I have never won any during my last employment with Qala.

An all-paid trip to US. That was the 1st prize last year my colleague told me. I wish I could get voucher or any cool gadget which can make easily me happy enough.

I joined a group of Pinoys and we have secured a table of 11 persons.

Can I be a Wonder Woman? (go get a push-up brrraaa!)

LightedPixels, an award winning studio that has been selected as “Best of Singapore in Wedding Photography” for two consecutive years 2007 & 2008. Run by husband and wife, Kelvin & Beth, the office occupied the 1st and 2nd floor while I am renting the 3rd floor (loft) share with my another friend.

Update: LightedPixels just grabbed the Top Wedding Photography in Singapore Tatler’s annual Best of Singapore awards again for 2009. Third year in a row… you guys are making history. Man.

I would love to get a foldable bicycle and ride to office which is merely distance of 4.5km from my house.

Life is about moving on… growing up and not looking back. I have got an open (golden) opportunity for me to join a BIGGER company and a higher position right after I came back from long CNY holiday in KL. (It really works, Mum!! The Ti-Gong heard my wishes!!). At least 30% of salary increment, and lots more new skills for me to pick up.

Had a meeting with my current supervisor, he is 100% support my decision: “Don’t look back… just go… ”

So, am going to tender my resignation tomorrow (choose 15th day of lunar new year and believe it will bring good lucks) and signing up the offer letter the next day.

Moving on to the next chapter of my career, and my life. Kudos!
