Today is the second day of my PSP running on Dark_Alex’s OE version 3.40, learnt how to rip/dump my UMD files into ISO format into my laptop (so that I can carry several games inside my Memory Stick later)

First, you need to download the software files called USB Special System Storage and follow the tutorials here to put it into your PSP Memory Stick.

You can run the program to convert your UMD files into single ISO. You can straight away using it to run in your mod-ed PSP.

If t he ISO is too large (limited storage if you have only 1GB card) you can use this program PSP ISO Compresser v1.4 to compress it into CSO. Download from here.

Finally! Just 2 days after the discovery of Lumines exploit, the team who did the same for previous downgrader came out with another one and this time is for PSP v3.50.

This downgrader is for v3.50 firmware, and includes a port of the Homebrew ENabler (HEN) for firmware 3.50. It will automatically detect all known PSP motherboard types, and do the appropriate steps to ensure a safe downgrade. To use this downgrader, you will need the following:

(1) A PSP, upgraded to the official Sony v3.50 firmware. You should also set your language settings to “English”.
(2) A legal Lumines UMD, either the EU (ULES00043) or US (ULUS10002) version. The original, Platinum, or Greatest Hits versions are all fine. Support for the Japanese version will come soon.
(3) Sufficient intelligence and english language skills to be able to carefully and throroughly read the instructions.
(4) It would also help if you’ve previously run the Illuminati Hello World, so that you’re familiar with how to run the Illuminati exploit.
