Morning was the TOUCH Walkathon which we have basically joined other 20,000 walkers for the city-walk (5Km route) with the equipments carried with barehands (Video camera, laptop, WiMax modem and our belongings. This walkathon was held in conjunction with National Day celebrations and to raise $600,000 to support the programmes and services for the needy and disadvantaged under the care of TOUCH.

We took 4 hours to finish the route. Too bad we have no extra hand for the photo shooting. We rested for a while (at IDA office) before got ourselves prepared for NDP events at Marina Bay.

The night was clear and chilled because of the heavy downpour earlier. All rushed into the stadium so eagerly for the final rehearsal of the NDP performance. The program dragged slightly longer than last week and everyone are in full uniform. The show ended with the fireworks show and it was really awesome. I took the video…

^{Found it odd to setup a cyber cafe within the subway station.}

This is the day we all gan-jiong about because it’s the a full-scared scaled and full-stressed dressed rehearsal for the NDP show. All 8 roving cameras (behind the scene) will be going online live to Internet users. I was being assigned to take care of 2 camera groups, location at the Raffles Avenue (where the audience and marching parade was held before entering the stadium) and Show Village Holding Area near to the Singapore Flyer.

^{The audience (mostly are primary school students) starting to enter the stadium as early as 4pm. The empty seats were gradually filled up and the show will be start at 6pm. The military and police squats lined-up outside and waiting for the signal to march into the stadium.}

^{8 Cameras started rolling and the streams were up at 4pm simultaneously.}

I was busy during the span of 4 hours, running up and down for the two teams which under my care. Some technical glitches and connection issues occurred several times. The rain has stopped earlier but I was all wet because of the sweat. The audience inside and outside the stadium were so overwhelmed, screams and cheers were heard all over the places. And I shouldn’t reveal much in detail about the show on stage, as instructed by IDA, it should be classified as “confidential” hehe.

Actually saw the first video on Sunday night, it has been removed by Youtube and Mr Muar re-uploaded a clearer version of the same video… I think this video really speaks. It has touched several Malaysia’s most sensitive issues (Note: some might not politically correct) and about Malaysia’s Chinese living under restrictions unfair policies.

The fifth installment of the Harry Potter series, Order of the Phoenix (aka OotP by fans) failed to deliver the excitement as expected, in my own opinion.

^{The series are becoming darker and not quit suitable for kids anymore.}

Aside from the IMAX 3D, there’s not much cinematic magic in the movie. I was hoping for more eye-opening magical fight scenes between the good and bad witches but it was so disappointing.

The only one I like was almost to the end of the show the climactic confrontation between PAPWBD vs. LV a.k.b.s.a. TMR Dumbledore vs Lord Voldemort… that was what I want, but more of this pleassseee.

PS: The sixth, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, is set to begin filming in September 2007, and has a scheduled release of 21 November 2008. Oh and not forgetting to mention that I love the actress who played Luna Lovegood, even Rowling herself has described the girl as “perfect fit” for the role.
